Preschool May Holiday Party

Mother Goose Day, National Chocolate Chip Day, Dance Like a Chicken Day, National Smile Day – there are a lot of fun holidays in May! We’ll celebrate at least a few of them at a party for all preschoolers and families on Monday, May 13 at 10:30 am.

YWCA Book Buddies

Preschoolers are invited to join the YWCA at 11:00 am on Monday, May 6 for fun with a book and activities. Kids also receive the book and a kit to take home!

Summer Reading starts June 3!

The theme for this year is “Adventure Begins at  Your Library”! Kids and teens can read and attend parties for free books and other prizes. It all kicks off at noon on June 3 with the Ice Cream Party. More details in June’s newsletter!

Chocolate Chip Contests for Youth

National Chocolate Chip Day is this month! There will be two jars of chocolate chips, one in the children’s area and one in the teen area. Come the closest to guessing the correct number without going over and you’ll win the jar!

This program is a nationwide challenge encouraging parents and caregivers to read aloud to their children.
