Teacher Resources
Swanton Public Library offers a variety of services for teachers, homeschool families, daycares, preschools, and local educators. Our staff is happy to help support classroom learning, early literacy, research projects, special assignments, and educational programming.
If you would like to schedule a visit, request materials, or learn more about any of the services below, please contact the library.
Daycare Outreach
A librarian can visit local daycares, preschools, and nursery schools for a 30 to 45 minute storytime with books, songs, movement, and early literacy activities.
Assignment Alerts
Let the library know before assigning a large class project so staff can help make sure books, research tools, and resources are ready for students.
Class Visits
Bring your class to the library for a tour, program, or learning activity, or schedule a children’s librarian to visit your school or classroom.
Ellison Dies
Teachers and community members may use the library’s Ellison dies for bulletin boards, classroom decorations, crafts, displays, and learning activities.
Teacher Packets
Need books for a classroom theme, unit, or project? Library staff can gather materials by topic, age group, season, author, or subject.
Homeschool Resources
Homeschool families can use library materials, teacher packets, digital tools, research help, programs, and resource links to support learning at home.
