Kids Can Eat Free at Swanton Public Library This Summer

Swanton Public Library is excited to offer free lunches for kids this summer through the Lunches for Kids program.
Lunch will be available at the library every weekday from Tuesday, June 2 through Wednesday, August 5, 2026, between 12:30 PM and 1:15 PM.
This program is open to kids of all ages. Lunches will be available for up to 25 kids each weekday.
Why This Matters
Swanton does not currently have a summer meals program, which can leave a gap for families when school is out. The Lunches for Kids program helps provide a simple, welcoming option for children to receive a meal during the summer months.
By offering lunch at the library, kids and families also have the chance to stay connected with books, programs, activities, Summer Reading, and a safe community space throughout the summer.
